Fantasy Premier League: Manchester City's best options

We've got another double matchweek to deal with, for all your ESPN Premier League fantasy players out there!

There's a full round of 10 matches on Tuesday and Wednesday (Feb. 26-27), and another 10 on Saturday and Sunday (March 2-3).

Each team will play one home game, and one away. There are two "Big Six" matchups: Chelsea vs. Tottenham on Wednesday, and Tottenham vs. Arsenal on Saturday. With Tottenham featuring in both, I won't be relying on them fantasy-wise.

Manchester City are the biggest favorites in both the midweek round and the weekend round of fixtures, hosting West Ham on Wednesday and then playing at Bournemouth on Saturday.cheap nfl nike jerseys from china

As of now, I'm planning to have Sergio Aguero as my Tier 1 forward and captain. Normally I'd be very worried about Aguero being rested for one of these games, but the fact that Gabriel Jesus wasn't even fit enough to make the squad for Sunday's Carabao Cup final against Chelsea makes it more likely that Aguero will start against both West Ham and Bournemouth.4

Also, Man City will have a week off following the Bournemouth game. They don't have a Champions League or FA Cup fixture that week.

Aguero scored a hat trick in two of Man City's previous three league games, against Arsenal and Chelsea. He also scored a goal in their 3-2 Champions League victory over Schalke last Wednesday. And although he obviously didn't get one in the scoreless draw with Chelsea on Sunday (Man City won on penalty kicks), Aguero still took a team-high four shots.

However, I won't be picking a Man City player at Tier 1 midfielder. They have much more depth at that position right now, so rotation is more likely here, especially with some playing the full 90 minutes plus 30 minutes of extra time on Sunday.

Raheem Sterling, fourth overall in fantasy points on the season, would be my pick of that bunch, but it's a little frightening that Sterling didn't take a single shot against Chelsea on Sunday despite playing 120 minutes.nike nfl jerseys wholesale cheap

Instead, I'm going with Paul Pogba at Tier 1 midfielder. Manchester United also have two relatively easy fixtures this week, playing at Crystal Palace on Wednesday, and then hosting Southampton on Saturday.

Pogba was quiet in Sunday's scoreless draw against Liverpool but, then again, everybody else was too. It was only the second time in 10 league games under new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that Pogba did not have a goal or assist. I expect him to bounce back this week against weaker opponents.
